A passionate Nature and Wildlife photographer, based in India, He is a graduate in Physics and Post Graduate in Ecology & Environment. He has taken part in several bird surveys, bird census, elephant census, tiger census and other environmental projects.

He has photographed most of the major National Parks, Important bird areas in India, and presently concentrating on the Himalaya.
He firmly believes that to be a better nature and wildlife photographer he will have to be a better naturalist, to know his subject matter better he spends most of his time in the field to observe and keep himself updated. Through his photography he tries to promote interest, awareness and conservation of nature and wildlife.

He is a trained mountaineer and an ardent rock climber he treats these qualifications as an added tool to his photography. Occasionally he shoots travel photographs to support himself.

His images are regularly published in the National and International publications, magazines, greetings, books, calendars and brochures.
